Hokusai side table

Hokusai was carved from a solid cherry slab. The form was chosen to highlight the unique grain pattern. The inlay mirrors the curvature of the top and prevents any additional checking.

Finished with non-toxic danish oil and hand polished with carnauba wax.

Solid cherry top with maple, purpleheart, and mahogany inlay. Hand turned maple legs.
