the Edo side table
This side table was inspired by traditional Japanese stools. The solid wood table is made from figured maple with ebony details. The asymetrical bevels cut into the table top gives the piece a unique look. The ebony handle and drawer slides provide an elegant contrast and a discreet charging shelf keeps your cords out of the drawer and off the table.
100% Hand Tools
The Edo was cut using only hand saws and chisels. It was surfaced using Japanese hand planes. It's held together with hand cut dovetails and wedged mortise and tenon joinery. No glue, screws, or fasteners were used.
